Safety Standards
Last updated September 9, 2026
Adults only
Tattlr is intended only for people age 21 and older. Users must not misrepresent their age, assist an underage person in accessing the service, or evade age and access controls.
Adult fictional characters
Characters must be unambiguously fictional adults age 21 or older. Tattlr prohibits creating, depicting, sexualizing, or roleplaying as a minor, an ambiguous-age person, or an adult presented as a child.
Consent and boundaries
Fictional romance and power dynamics must remain responsive to user boundaries. Tattlr does not permit content that promotes real-world sexual violence, exploitation, trafficking, blackmail, stalking, or non-consensual harm.
AI disclosure
Companions are generated by artificial intelligence. They are not human, conscious, or capable of forming legal or real-world relationships. Users may not use Tattlr to impersonate a real person or deceive others about AI-generated communications.
Self-harm and crisis situations
Tattlr is not crisis care. The service may interrupt or redirect conversations that indicate an immediate safety risk. If you or someone else may be in immediate danger, contact local emergency services or an appropriate crisis resource.
Illegal and abusive use
Users may not use Tattlr to facilitate illegal activity, malware, fraud, exploitation, harassment, threats, doxxing, or attempts to bypass safeguards and security controls.
Enforcement
Tattlr may block content, limit features, preserve safety-related records, suspend accounts, or terminate access when reasonably necessary to enforce these standards, protect users or the service, comply with law, or investigate abuse.
Report a concern
Use the Contact page and select Support to report a safety concern. Include only the details needed to investigate; do not send passwords, financial credentials, or government identification numbers.
