1. Overview
Tattlr is a personalized AI companion service for adults age 21 and older. This policy describes the categories of information the service may process, why we use it, and the controls available to users.
2. Information you provide
This may include account information, character settings, messages, relationship memories you choose to retain, support requests, and subscription information. Do not submit passwords, government identification numbers, precise financial credentials, or other information that is unnecessary for the service.
3. Adult access and age assurance
Tattlr currently uses an account-based confirmation that the user is age 21 or older before app access. This confirmation is self-declared and is not the same as independent identity or age verification. Tattlr may add an independent age-assurance provider later; if enabled, we intend to retain only the limited eligibility result and provider reference needed for access, audit, security, and legal obligations, subject to the final provider configuration.
4. AI processing and memory
Messages and character settings are processed to generate AI responses. When memory is enabled, Tattlr may save concise relationship facts such as preferences, milestones, inside jokes, boundaries, and story facts to improve continuity. Memory controls are intended to let users manage or remove saved information.
5. Service providers
We may use hosting, AI, payments, age assurance, analytics, email, security, and support providers to operate Tattlr. These providers may process information on our behalf under their own contractual and legal obligations.
6. Data retention and deletion
We aim to retain information only as long as needed for the service, security, legal compliance, dispute resolution, and user-selected continuity. Account deletion and memory-management controls will be made available as the service moves to production.
7. Safety and prohibited use
Tattlr is designed for adults 21+. The service does not permit romantic or sexual content involving minors or ambiguous-age characters. Safety events may be logged when needed to enforce these rules or protect the service.
8. Your choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict certain personal information. You may also be able to disable memory, remove individual memories, or delete conversations through product controls.
